Education and Training

£120 - £130 per day

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across various subjects and age groups
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and ensure continuity in learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and school staff
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Prior experience working as a teacher in a school setting

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational policies
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Additional certifications in specific subject areas
  • Experience working as a supply teacher in different schools

The role involves working in a school environment with regular classroom hours. Flexibility in terms of location and subject areas may be required. The position is temporary and may involve short notice assignments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
