Education and Training

£120 - £130 per day

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Implement lesson plans provided by the school while ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and discipline effectively
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to regular teachers
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and age groups

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a classroom setting

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
  • Proficient in using technology for teaching purposes
  • Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
  • Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of schools
  • Work in different schools within the assigned area
  • Follow school policies and procedures
  • Regularly communicate with school staff and parents
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
