• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own when necessary.
• Mark and assess students' work, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour and address any issues promptly and professionally.
• Adapt to different school settings and build rapport with students and staff.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various schools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
