Supply Teacher for Secondary Schools in Newport

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic supply teacher to join our team to work across secondary schools in the Newport area. This role offers a competitive daily pay rate of £157.66 and provides the flexibility of either full-time or flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

  • Marking and assessing students' work as required

Requirements:

  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching in UK-based schools
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
