Salary: £120 - £160 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking dynamic and dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to join our pool of talented educators in Oldham and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (NQTs) looking to gain valuable experience across a range of schools. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across various subjects in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Adapt to different school environments and adhere to each school’s policies and procedures.
  • Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
