Salary: £120 - £140 Per day

The Supply Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include following lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, assessing student work, and providing feedback to students and school staff.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications are essential for this role. A valid DBS check is required prior to starting work as a Supply Teacher.

A degree in Education or a related field is required for this position.

Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting is preferred. Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities is beneficial.

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students are essential. Good classroom management skills and the ability to work independently are also required.

Additional qualifications in special education, subject-specific expertise, or experience in working as a Supply Teacher in a similar setting are advantageous.

The Supply Teacher will work in school settings, following the school's policies and procedures. The role may involve working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. The teacher will need to be flexible and adaptable to different teaching environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
