Salary: £120 - £140 Per day

  • Deliver prepared lesson plans to students on a short-term basis in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students
  • Complete administrative tasks such as marking and record-keeping
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Proven experience in teaching and managing classroom dynamics
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher in various schools
  • Work in different schools on a short-term basis
  • Full-time hours with potential for occasional overtime
  • Interact with students, parents, and school staff on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
