Part-time Supply Teacher

We are looking for a part-time supply teacher to work at a client secondary school starting in October.

As a part-time supply teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education for our students during periods when regular teachers are unavailable. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated.

This position is ideal for educators looking for flexible working hours while making a positive impact on young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and active participation.
  • Manage student behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and report any concerns to relevant staff members.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff as needed to enhance student learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching at the secondary school level is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of varying abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing classroom dynamics.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
