What is Day-to-Day Supply?

Day-to-day supply teaching involves stepping in to cover classes in secondary schools when permanent teachers are absent, often at short notice. This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexible work, offering the opportunity to teach in different schools and gain experience across various year groups and subjects.

The schools we work with in the Portsmouth area range from academies to independent schools, serving diverse communities with students from various backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work in environments that value innovation, inclusivity, and academic excellence. Whether it's supporting students in mainstream settings or engaging in schools with specialised focuses, these schools are committed to providing a high-quality education.

Each school is equipped with modern facilities and a supportive staff network to ensure a positive teaching and learning environment. This variety will allow you to develop professionally and make a significant impact on the students' educational journey.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Desirable but not essential.
