As a Supply Teacher based in Sale, Greater Manchester, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students in various educational settings. Your primary role will involve covering for permanent teachers during their absence, ensuring a seamless continuation of the curriculum.

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching to students across different subjects and age groups.
  • Follow lesson plans left by the regular teacher and ensure that the educational goals are met.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and student needs.
  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience in teaching or working with children.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience in teaching diverse student populations.
  • Additional subject specialisms or certifications.
  • Full-time contract position with the possibility of extension.
  • Regular working hours within the school term schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
