Education and Training

£120 - £140 Per day

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students in the absence of regular classroom teachers
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure that learning objectives are met
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues that arise
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Valid DBS check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience in teaching or working with children in an educational setting

  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas
  • Experience working as a supply teacher or covering a variety of subjects
  • Work in different schools and classrooms on a daily basis
  • May require travel within the Altrincham area
  • Follow school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
