Salary: Up to £150 per day (dependent on experience).

Position Overview

We are looking for qualified Supply Teachers to work on a flexible basis at various secondary schools in Tameside, including areas such as Denton, Hyde, Stalybridge, Gee-Cross, and Audenshaw. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse educational settings, covering for absent teachers and ensuring that students continue to receive a high standard of education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or create your own when necessary.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback as required.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning for students.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across different age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different schools and classrooms.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
