Salary: £120 - £140 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of a regular classroom teacher
  • Follow the lesson plans provided and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students are focused on their tasks
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in teaching, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in specific subject areas
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • May require travel to different schools within the region
  • Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
