Teaching Personnel are the UK’s leading supply teaching agency and are currently seeking Teachers for both day-to-day and long-term placements in Newport and surrounding areas. We are looking for teachers from all subject areas who are proficient in teaching KS3 and KS4.

As a supply teacher, you will significantly impact students' academic success while also having the benefit to endure flexible work. Furthermore, this role presents the possibility of stability and the chance to move into a permanent position if desired.

Location: Newport

Hours: Flexible Hours

Pay: £157.66 minimum

Start Date: ASAP

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

-          Foster a positive learning environment to ensure students remain engaged and focused on their work.

-          Deliver lessons effectively and ensure that students understand the material to develop their academic success.

-          Modify lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

-          Establish rapport with students, encouraging participation, and creating a respectful classroom atmosphere are key to promoting a productive learning experience.

-          Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Requirements:

-          A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT

-          Enhanced DBS (Teaching Personnel can help with this)

-          Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Teaching Personnel can help with this)
