Teaching Personnel - Manchester South Secondary branch

The Supply Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students, following the school's curriculum. They must maintain a positive learning environment and effectively manage classroom behaviour. The teacher will also assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.

The ideal candidate must hold a Qualified Teacher Status and have completed a Secondary PGCE. They should be familiar with the national curriculum and have a passion for education.

A degree in Education or a related field is required, along with relevant teaching qualifications.

Prior experience in teaching or working with students is preferred. Experience in a secondary school setting is advantageous.

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

Additional certifications in special education or subject-specific areas are desirable.

The Supply Teacher will work in a school setting, following the school term calendar. They may be required to work additional hours for parent-teacher meetings or extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
