Secondary schools in the central Manchester area are looking for teachers who are available on a flexible, temporary basis to cover lessons as required. Now and looking ahead to the second half of the Autumn term (and beyond), schools prepare for winter period of cover and supply.

Working with a wide variety of secondary schools in the centre of Manchester including areas of Chorlton, Didsbury, Fallowfield, Parrs Wood, Levenshulme, Longsight and Trafford, Teaching Personnel have found themselves already inundated with queries and requests for teachers who will be available and able to go into school to cover lessons across the subject range.

Highlights of the supply teaching role:

  • Supply teacher opportunities in the city centre of Manchester as well as neighbouring areas
  • Various options from day-to-day cover across the subject range or in your specific subject area
  • Work which is consistent in a number of secondary schools in and around these areas of South Manchester
  • Day to day, short term and more longer term supply teaching assignments (up to 1-2 terms)
  • Competitive pay rate with opportunity to earn up to £3000 per month depending upon availability

If you are a teacher who is looking to keep their hand in teaching or perhaps you are studying on a part time basis and are keen to teach aswell then this role is ideal for you. If you have any availability from 2 days per week – 5 days per week from September, then please apply highlighting this on your application. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
