Education and Training

£120 - £140 Per day

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in the students' learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and any issues that arise
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students
  • Good classroom management skills
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of school settings
  • Work in different schools on a temporary basis
  • Potential for travel within the North West England region
  • Collaborate with different teaching staff and students regularly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
