Education and Training

£120 - £140 per day

1. Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher

2. Managing the classroom environment to ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere

3. Following the school's policies and procedures in terms of behaviour management and safeguarding

4. Providing feedback to regular teachers regarding students' progress and any issues that arise

5. Collaborating with other staff members and school leadership as needed

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

2. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

3. Proven experience working in a classroom setting

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

1. Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and student needs

Postgraduate certificate in Education

Additional training in special education needs (SEN)

1. Working in a school setting with students of various ages and abilities

2. Full-time hours with occasional requirement for additional duties or responsibilities

3. Adhering to the school's schedule and academic calendar

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
