Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring students stay on task
• Manage classroom behaviour, creating a positive and controlled learning environment
• Ensure that students understand and complete the tasks set by their regular teacher
• Follow school policies and procedures, particularly regarding safeguarding and pupil welfare
• Provide feedback to the school on lesson outcomes and any significant observations about student progress or behaviour
• Adapt to a range of subjects and year groups, with no need to plan or mark work

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a teacher, ideally with QTS
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
• A flexible and positive attitude toward teaching in different environments
• Commitment to upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
