A secondary based in Rochdale, is seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join their team on a flexible, temporary basis. This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking for the variety and flexibility that supply teaching offers. As a Supply Teacher, you’ll step into classrooms across different subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning and providing students with a positive, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-prepared lessons in accordance with pre-set lesson plans, covering a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4.
- Establish a productive and positive learning environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies.
- Adapt quickly to new classrooms and adjust teaching methods to suit different learning needs.
- Provide constructive feedback on student progress and communicate any challenges faced during the lessons.
- Work flexibly, stepping into various classes and subject areas as needed by the school.
Key Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience teaching in a secondary setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new learning environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to supporting student learning.
