Part-time Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for a General Supply Teacher to work in 3 different Client Secondary Schools based in South Manchester, starting in September. The role starts in January and will run until Easter (3 days a week, 8:30am – 3:00pm) initially, although may be extended until July 2025.

The 3 schools are situated closely together, and all boast fantastic facilities, with staff that are also very welcoming and supportive. They are all surrounded by various train links and bus routes which go in and out of Stockport. All schools also have staff car parks that successful candidates can utilise. However, all schools are still very accessible via public transport.

Should applicants have a subject specialism that they can offer, then the schools can be flexible and utilise your expertise in this area.

Benefits

-          Payscales will be adhered to with applications encouraged from all experience levels: M1 – UPS3

-          No planning/marking responsibilities

-          Easy to commute via public transport and secure large car park

-          January to April 2025 placement

The role itself will involve covering a variety of subjects throughout the 3 schools whenever a class teacher is off sick, so the ability to be adaptable and flexible to teaching any subject at any school will be extremely beneficial. All lesson plans and subject matter will be prepared in advance, so no planning or marking responsibilities will be expected from you in this position.

Additional requirements

-          Qualified Teacher Status (in any subject)

-          Experience planning and delivering lessons or work to KS3 and KS4 (desirable)

-          Ability to build relationships quickly

-          Flexible to covering different subjects at different schools

-          Experience working in a secondary school (desirable)
