Support Teachers are currently for KS3 and KS4 students in the Didsbury area.

This role will require you to be confident assisting students on a 1:1 basis as a large portion of your role will be based around this.

Key information of the role:

  • The pay will be £12.30 at a minimum with the potential for this to increase if the needs of the school are more than usual.
  • The hours will be standard school hours 8:15am – 3:15pm with some variation depending on the school.
  • We work with schools all over the Manchester area, but we will primarily be sending you to schools within the Didsbury area.
  • You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 students.

Requirements:

  • You must be contactable during the hours of 7am – 8am on days you mark as available.
  • You do not need to be a qualified teacher but relevant experience or transferable skills will be needed.
  • You must be able to drive or travel up to 35 minutes on public transport.
  • You must be located in the UK for this role.
  • You must have excellent communication skills for this role as it will require you to communicate with students who may require additional help.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
