A highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Worker to join their Westbury site. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Assist with classroom management and support students during school activities, both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
