A prestigious and high-achieving Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Worker to join their permanent staff in Silverstone. This exceptional institution prides itself on delivering outstanding educational experiences tailored to the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities.
  • Support students in developing social, academic, and life skills.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Assist with the personal care needs of students, where necessary.
  • Collaborate with educational professionals, therapists, and external agencies to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to supporting student well-being and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or support work are desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
