Are you looking for an opportunity to transfer your experience into a role working with young people?

A specialist primary SEN school situated in CV7 Coventry is looking to recruit two Support workers to work with KS3/4 as SEN Teaching assistants. These roles are full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am-15:30pm up until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to become a permanent staff. This is an Ofsted 'good' graded school which carries an excellent reputation in its local community along with its ability to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

The school supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Condition, which leads to interaction or communication difficulties. Due to the specific needs of the pupils, the school is now looking to appoint two support workers who can use their training, experience, and personalities to support the young people as Teaching assistants in the classroom.

The available positions will involve working directly with pupils who have Autism and complex needs, so we are ideally looking for Support workers who have experience in moving and handling, and significant experience working with children or adults who have complex needs would be favourable.
