The Special Needs Resource Base (SNRB) is an integral part of the school, offering tailored support to help students thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role:
The school are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the Special Needs Resource Base. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young people with additional needs.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting students with toileting and personal care needs with respect and dignity.
  • Providing tube feeding to students who require it, ensuring all safety and hygiene procedures are followed.
  • Supporting students' learning alongside teachers and other support staff, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families, creating a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care and support provided, in line with school policies and procedures.

What The School Are Looking For:

  • Experience or willingness to train in toileting, personal care, and tube feeding.
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt to the varying needs of our students.
  • Previous experience in a school or care setting is an advantage, but we welcome applications from those with a caring nature and a willingness to learn.
