Job Op – Primary Teaching Assistant

Location – Bridport

Role – Part-Time / (Job Share)

Start – After Easter

Teaching Personnel are working with multiple schools in the Bridport area who are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their schools on a flexible basis.

Are you someone who loves to work but wants to choose when or you may be open to a job share, then this may be the opportunity for you!

The schools are looking to recruit after the Easter half term until the end of this academic year, with a potential to extend for the right TA’s.

Role:

-          Working closely with the class teacher to ensure correct level of support is being provided.

-          Potential for 1:1 support in class for challenging pupils to help engage and monitor behaviour.

-          Help implement the fun and inclusive learning environment already det by the existing staff.

Requirements:

-          Ability to offer support for a whole class.

-          Calm and confident attitude required with use of own initiative in challenging environments.

-          Hold a child only DBS accessible via the update service (Teaching Personnel can assist with this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
