A school in Blackpool area is looking for a KS1 Teaching assistant to join their team!  The successful applicant will work alongside the class teacher, delivering small intervention groups and support on a 1:1 basis when necessary.

The school is in central Blackpool and has easy access via public transport or car. The Head Teacher and Senior Leaders of the school are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has had recent experience in an academic environment and are looking to develop their career in education. 

The school is situated in an area of high social and economic deprivation, being within 10% of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the UK. The school is looking for a person can build strong working relationships with the children being supported, whilst being kind and compassionate.

To be considered for the position of a teaching assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Be Patient, Caring and Engaging
  • Have experience in an education or healthcare setting
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification – or be open to completing one through us
  • Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check- Child only
