Position: Art Teacher in Secondary Education

Location: Northampton

Are you an experienced teacher with a creative side, looking for you next career move?

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Art teacher to join an excellent school in Northampton, to help towards developing their student’s creativity and expand their knowledge in the subject.

The NN3 based school has a Good Ofsted rating, and believe Art is for the enjoyment regardless of the ability. Each school year has its own specific focus and plan, which throughout the years is gradually built up to GCSE and A-level standard, should they wish to take it to these levels.

About the role

Starting ASAP, with a great competitive pay-rate, the successful candidate ideally has excellent knowledge of the subject, as well as be willing to learn and teach each level of the carefully designed curriculum.

As an Art teacher for the school, you’ll have the opportunity to Plan, prepare and deliver fun and exciting lessons for all year groups, using the schools set curriculum to help boost the students’ skills and knowledge.

Requirements

-          Experience of teaching Key Stages, 3, and 4 and have the passion and enthusiasm to deliver the subject

-          Good understanding of the Art Curriculum

-          An enhanced Child only DBS

-          An overseas Police Clearance (If applicable)

-          Full-time availability (Monday-Friday)
