This exceptional role involves teaching Design and Technology to students aged 11-16, developing the curriculum, and contributing to a supportive academic environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in resistant materials and will teach the subject to students from Years 7 to 11.

• Teach Design and Technology with an emphasis on Resistant Materials from Years 7 to 11
• Develop and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum
• Collaborate with a specialist team and support vocational literacy and e-learning programmes
• Oversee the development and implementation of projects within Resistant Materials
• Contribute to departmental efficiency and student welfare

• Degree in a relevant subject (preferred)
• QTS or equivalent
• Expertise in Resistant Materials
• Knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in Design and Technology
• Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
• Awareness of safeguarding practices
• Strong IT skills
• Ability to inspire students and manage classrooms effectively
