Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our clients’ schools team of English teachers who are committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally.

The School in mind are based in Hertford and have the belief that ‘Education is much more than what goes on inside the classroom’ so ideally are looking for a candidate who feels passionate about not only providing the best education within their lessons but somebody who is also committed to guiding and upskilling the students outside of the classroom as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that align with the curriculum standards to students in Key stage 3
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development.
  • Collaborate with other members of the department to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

  • A qualification in teaching – Specialising in English (QTS or equivalent) however would still accept unqualified teachers with 3+ years’ experience teaching English to Secondary students.
  • Have an abundance of Knowledge in both English Literature and Language
    A child only enhanced DBS
  • The ability to inspire and motivate the students to develop a love for the subject and learning
  •  Overseas police clearance (If applicable)
  • Full Time availability until the end of the Academic Year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
