An Ofsted rated GOOD secondary school in the heart of Bicester, Oxfordshire, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of English to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. They will be passionate about the subject, committed to raising student achievement, and eager to contribute to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
*Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
*Contribute to the development and review of the English curriculum.
*Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
*Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting a positive learning environment.

Requirements:
*A degree in English or a related field.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
*Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
*A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people.

Desirable:
*Experience teaching English at Key Stage 5.
*Familiarity with current educational research and best practices.
*Involvement in extracurricular activities or initiatives.
