An award-winning SEN school group is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Food Technology Teacher to join the permanent staff team at their alternative provision site in Darwen.

This dynamic school provides exceptional education to students with a range of special educational needs, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching food technology, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of planning and delivering engaging, differentiated food technology lessons
  • Strong classroom management skills with a positive, supportive approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated SEN team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
