Job Title: Geography Teacher

Location: Secondary School in Fleet

Start Date: September 2024

Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Fleet. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2024. You will be responsible for teaching Geography across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and school events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) qualifying this year are encouraged to apply.
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
