The school are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in developing students’ understanding of the world, encouraging critical thinking, and fostering a love for geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality geography lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the geography curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
