Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of mathematics and help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for maths.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.
