Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a Large Secondary school based in Halstead. The school are looking for an experienced MFL Teacher to join there team.

The post is suitable for experienced teachers or a NQT seeking their first post. 

Candidate

  • An outstanding teacher who is ready to join a forward thinking, rapidly improving Curriculum Area  
  • A dynamic and inspiring teacher to work collaboratively with the Subject Leader to enthuse students about languages within an ambitious department who aim to work effectively as part of a team within the Academy to provide an outstanding educational experience for the students. 
  • An individual who wishes to be involved in the design and development of the MFL curriculum and play a strategic role in the development of the school. 
  • A teacher committed to giving students extra-curricular opportunities. 

Main Duties

  • To maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching of your subject(s) and to take account of wider educational developments relevant to your work.
  • To plan tutor sessions, lessons and sequences of lessons to meet the individual, personal and academic developmental needs of students and so build their capacity as independent learners.
  • To alert appropriate staff to problems experienced by students and to make recommendations as to how these may be resolved.
  • To use a range of appropriate strategies and follow Academy policies for teaching, tutoring, behaviour management and classroom management.

This school is based in Halstead, near to local transport. Parking will be available on site.
