With Ofsted outstanding leadership and student behaviour, our client secondary school in the heart of Daventry are currently on the look out for a Teacher of Science to join their team from January 2025. The school is easily accessible from local areas such as Northampton, Coventry and Towcester. With ample staff parking on site and accessible via pubilc transport. 

Open to ECT and subject specialists, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students to develop a love for science and achieve excellent academic results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a science-related subject.
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
