Teacher of Social Science
A popular, highly successful, multi-cultural school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed, and inspiring Teacher of Social Science and Vocational Subjects (Sociology, Psychology, T level Education & Early Years and BTEC Health & Social Care) to join their successful and dynamic Social Science and Enterprise Cluster from January 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects at BTEC Levels 1-3 and A Level
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that inspire students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
The successful candidate MUST have:
- Relevant first degree in Social Science or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge to teach required subjects at specified levels
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working successfully as a member of a team
