Job Description:

Teaching Personnel are working with a supportive 16-18 college in Gosport who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Sciences Teacher to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Social Science to students at various levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Social Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Social Science at the secondary or college level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
