Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking for cover teachers to work day-to-day within EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in the Birmingham area.

You must have experience working as a teacher in your chosen key stage but be flexible to cover throughout year groups. All applicants must hold or make application for a child workforce DBS- registered on the update service. When covering classes, you must possess strong classroom management skills and be able to provide educational support to students with varying needs. This includes being consistent with their current curriculum and behaviour management taught by the students’ full-time teacher.

Responsibilities will Include:

• Delivering engaging pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum for all subjects.
• Creating an inclusive and diverse working environment for students. 
• Work effectively alongside teaching assistants and other members of staff.
• Classroom and behaviour management.
• Complying to the school’s policies and procedures.

You will need:

• Qualified Teaching Status.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• An understanding of Safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
