The teaching roles include: MFL Spanish French, Mathematics, Science, Computer science and Design & Technology. Also open to ECT’s.

What do you need?
· A teaching qualification with QTS and experience teaching any of the above subjects across KS3 and KS4 in line with the UK Curriculum
· A valid PGCE/QTS
· An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable.
· Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects.
· 2 education-based references in the last 24 months.
· A passion for teaching.

The role as a secondary teacher
· Preparing teaching and learning materials.
· Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers.
· Manage the behaviour of pupils during the lesson according to the school’s behaviour management policy, and to ensure a constructive learning environment.
· Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
· Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation.
· Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff.
· Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested.
