A school in Burnley, who we work very closely with, is seeking a full-time Year 3 Teacher to join their team in January 2025. This role has the potential to be long term and will run until the Summer.

To be successful, you will need:

-          To have experience teaching children, preferably in KS2.

-          Have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

-          Plan and deliver engaging lessons around the curriculum.

-          Join in with the whole school ethos.

-          Promote positive behaviour.

-          Build relationships with support staff, colleagues, children and parents.

-          Assess children’s progress and identify any gaps in their learning.

-          Create an inclusive education experience for all children.

-          Provide additional support to children with SEN.

-          Communicate with parents and SLT about children’s progress.

Essential requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

-          Relevant experience supporting children in KS2.

-          Enhanced DBS certificate.

-          Up to date Safeguarding certificate.

-          Positive attitude and approach to teaching and learning.

-          Commitment to the teaching role between January and Summer.
