Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an independent special school based in Wisbech. This is a small school for pupils ages 11-16 the main focus is on social and emotional development, creating strong and trusting relationships between staff and pupils forming the foundation for success.

THE JOB

  • Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge
    and skills and make good progress in their learning
  • Work with the Senior Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum
    which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
  • Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding
    systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely interventions

THE PERSON

  • Qualified Teacher preferred but consideration will be given to other recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience of teaching to English to a secondary class/group
  • Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
  • Experience within an SEN setting
