About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary School in Cwmbran. This long-term position is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers and staff in delivering engaging learning experiences
  • Assist with daily routines, classroom management, and promoting positive behaviour
  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards students needing additional support
  • Foster the academic, emotional, and social development of all pupils
  • Help prepare new learning materials as needed

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate)
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we will help you obtain this!)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (mandatory in Wales)
