Teaching Assistant in Portishead (1 month only)

A village school near Portishead is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a temporary basis from the 15th of April until 17th of May!

About the role:

- Working 1:1 with a child in year 3 who has autism,

- The child has a unique curriculum planned by the teacher,

- You will need to use self-regulation techniques to work with the child such as movement breaks.

What you will need:

- Prior experience of working as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential,

- You must have prior experience of working with children in some capacity,

- Be a patient individual devoted to helping vulnerable children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
