  • Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to students
  • Helping students develop coping strategies and self-regulation skills
  • Collaborating with other school staff and mental health professionals to create a supportive environment
  • Experience working with people with mental health needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • Understanding of mental health issues affecting young people
  • Ability to provide emotional support and create a safe learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures

The role involves working in a classroom setting within a very small school environment. Part-time hours are expected, with a focus on supporting students with mental health challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
