Teaching Assistant Position: Support for SEN Learners in Norwich

Are you experienced in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) throughout primary and secondary education? Do you have a passion for working with children who have Additional Learning Needs? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our specialist SEN branch in Norwich is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a special school dedicated to children with complex needs and/or autism. Our setting offers education from Reception through to Year 13, and all students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) that identifies their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with pupils with autism and complex behaviours.
  • Deliver tailored interventions to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Adapt lesson plans to support diverse learning requirements.
  • Foster positive behaviours and personal development.
  • Work within the guidelines of EHCPs to facilitate a successful school journey.
