Teaching Assistant

Do you have previous experience supporting SEN learners throughout primary and secondary education? 

Have you worked with children with Additional Learning Needs in specialist settings? 

Would you like to work in a school that specifically supports pupils diagnosed with Autism?

Our specialist SEN Branch in Norwich are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Autism in the South Norfolk area.

As TA, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour 
  • Delivering bespoke interventions
  • Changing some lessons to suit the needs of the pupils 
  • Working towards standards in behaviours and attitudes and personal development
  • Working within the guidelines of EHCPs 

A successful candidate will be:

  • Flexible and adaptable in work situations
  • Caring and compassionate
  • Able to work in a challenging environment 
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour
  • Willing to complete any training and CPD necessary for the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
