  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Creating and adapting learning materials to suit the individual needs of students
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best support for students with SEN
  • Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young adults with SEN
  • Understanding of different Special Educational Needs and how to support them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Work in a school setting with regular school hours
  • May require some additional hours for planning and meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
